Tour 2:
We wanted to go out to the Red Sea.
But not like the previously booked tourist tours from other providers, but alone and completely individually.
So we met with one of the 3 owners (Ahmed) of Manta Tours and expressed all our wishes.
We wanted a private boat, snorkeling on the most beautiful coral reefs, chilling on deck without stress, soaking up the sun, listening to music, dancing, laughing, being free and all of this without considering other fellow travelers.
I really wanted to go fishing and not only see the colorful underwater world while snorkeling but also taste it.
So my wish was to go fishing and then prepare and taste the fish I caught directly on board.
He assured us that he would fulfill all our wishes.
Due to weather conditions (too windy) our trip could only take place 2 days after booking. We were so excited. Now it finally started.

In the morning we were picked up again directly in front of the hotel, taken to the marina, where our captain and his sailor were waiting for us and we went straight onto our yacht and then off towards the first islands.
As soon as we left the harbor, the very experienced captain headed to a place where we were able to watch dolphins swimming and diving several times 🐬.
Completely free without stress, without other motorboats with tourists. (What we experienced on other previously booked tours was much more stressful for people and animals).
As the dolphins moved on, we headed for a fantastic coral reef and saw countless colorful fish. After we had taken incredible underwater photos and videos of snorkeling and knew what lived there, we went back to the boat and we started fishing, less than 5 minutes and the first fish was on, it went on and on. Even my wife caught her first fish ever. Not the biggest but incredibly beautiful and colorful and also super tasty afterwards 🐠.
After the successful fishing, the Manta Tour team prepared a huge buffet for us, just for the two of us, with all the regional delicacies and of course the fish we caught ourselves. While we were able to chill out on the sun deck with a fresh fruit platter, we continued to a hidden sandbank where we were accompanied again by our guide with the camera and some wonderful photos were taken. All of these are unforgettable memories that you don't get from blanket trips.
In the evening we made our way back to the marina and were able to stay at romant Enjoy the last moments of the day on deck as the sun sets.
An unforgettable day with so much joy.

We were impressed by the entire Manta Tours team, they are incredibly warm people, courteous, cheerful and they love their job, you can feel it straight away. A vacation like in paradise.

And now a detailed report:

It was our first time in Hurgada and we tried out a few trips via “get your guide”. Many of them were really great and can be recommended, but it is and remains mass tourism.
Many people for relatively little money, you can do it, but there is a better way.
But we also wanted to have something special, individual just for us without stress and other tourists.
So we decided on 2 private tours with Manta Tours.

Tour 1:
Quad safari in the desert,
rush through the desert alone, explore the mountains and the endless vast desert 🤩.
Everything was included in the package. From the transfer hotel to the desert and back without any problems, with friendly drivers, to on-site instruction by the guides.
As soon as we were briefed, we started straight away.
A good 25km of just sand, dust and stones through the desert towards a Biduin village. Once there there was traditional food to try, free tea and freshly baked bread. After a little refreshment, a guide led us around with camels and we had the opportunity to take photos and videos and then buy extra photos and have souvenirs made.
After the photo shoot and a break, we went back through the desert towards the quad station at sunset. Once there we were taken to the event site. The end of the day was still waiting there.
First there was tea again, then a rich buffet with local dishes (all of which were delicious) plus a shisha and then the evening program started. Belly dancers, traditional dancers and finally a fire show. What a lovely end to the day 🤩. Then you can easily take the shuttle service back to the hotel without having to wait long.
Everything was well organized by one of the business owners (Talal) and all the other guides were very friendly and tried to make sure we had a nice day.
Conclusion: clear recommendation for anyone who doesn't feel like driving slowly through the desert in columns with 20-30 other tourists. But for people who want to have fun individually. 🚗

The trip was amazing. The crew was kind and helped anywhere they could. Couldn't have asked for more! My mother and I felt very comfortable and at home. Saw dolphins two times and the islands were amazing. For the first time in my life I dared to go into the sea, due to my fear of fish. With the staffs guidance, I overcame my fear.

Thanks again for an unforgettable experience, we'll surely book again!

We thought the boat trip was really good, the food was great, the captain was nice and the boat was cosy. We saw a ray and dolphins.
